CEN Privacy Policy

Clean Energy Nillumbik is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information it collects, holds and administers. We will never knowingly disclose your private information to any government agency, organisation or individual. However, we do use the email marketing tool Mailchimp to help us distribute our communications. Their Privacy Policy states that “we do not, under any circumstances, sell your distribution lists” (Section E Mailchimp Privacy Policy). And of course, you are able to remove yourself from our mailing list at any time simply by contacting CEN on ‘secrectary@cleanenergynillumbik.org.au.’

The only private information we collect is your name, email address and occasionally your phone number. We will only use your email address, which you have voluntarily given us, for the purpose of keeping you up to date with CEN activities and events. We will not use your name or email address for any other purpose. We will only use your phone number to contact you and it will never be passed on to a third party.

Your personal information will be held on a secure computer in a protected file, administered by our secretary. Use of your personal information can only occur with the approval of the CEN's Executive Committee and can only be used for the purposes described above.
